Our proprietary, patented Certa-Lok® restrained joint technology utilizes precision-machined grooves on the pipe and within the coupling or integral bell, which—when aligned—allow a nylon spline to be inserted, creating a bi-directionally restrained joint that can be assembled in minutes.
For municipal applications, Certa-Lok® products can be easily pushed or pulled, making them ideal for horizontal directional drilling (HDD), static pipe bursting and other trenchless installations. In the water well market, Certa-Lok® Well Casing & Drop Pipe products feature a unique coupling with a spline locking design, allowing quick and easy assembly without additional tools, significantly reducing assembly time.
