Westlake Pipe & Fittings’ Certa-Com® Trenchless Conduit PVC Pipe features Certa-Lok®, the bi-directionally restrained joint system designed for electrical and communication conduit applications.
- Manufactured with outside diameters (IPS sized) and wall thickness of Sch 40 pipe
- Meets all performance requirements of NEMA TC-2 and UL 651
- Utilizes precision-machined grooves on the conduit fitting and in the integral bell, which, when aligned, allow a spline to be inserted, resulting in a bi-directionally restrained joint
- Flexible elastomeric gaskets in the integral bell provide a hydraulic seal
- This PVC conduit connector works with conduit electrical applications, conduit pipe and conduit fittings
Designed for Trenchless Installation
Certa‑Com® Trenchless Conduit PVC Pipe is manufactured with iron pipe size (IPS) outside diameters and Schedule 40 wall thickness. The Certa‑Lok® joint utilizes precision‑machined grooves, a locking spline, and a flexible elastomeric gasket to provide a bi‑directionally restrained joint with a hydraulic seal and immediate full‑strength performance without the use of solvent cement or fusion.
Designed for Fast, Reliable Performance
Certa‑Com® Trenchless Conduit PVC Pipe meets the performance requirements of NEMA TC‑2 and is certified to UL 651 and CSA C22.2 No. 211.2. The segmented rigid PVC pipe supports easy and fast assembly and minimizes job‑site footprint. Certa‑Com® Trenchless Conduit PVC Pipe is installed using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) or open/continuous trench methods.
